RAVENS PRE-SEASON INFORMATION– MARCH 2023

2023 Fees

This year IHNZ have changed to “Game Day” as their registration platform. The fee structure for New Plymouth Club members is as follows:

IHNZ Fee  - $50 ( this can be paid direct to IHNZ when you register or invoiced from Ravens Club)
Ravens Fee –  $50 ( This is a Ravens branch fee to cover costs of some rink fees, team pucks etc)
Main Club Fee - $60 ( this makes up part of the New Plymouth club fee.

It is important that you register urgently, firstly to allow us to make sure we have you all in teams and secondly it is a requirement of IHNZ that you are registered before your first sanctioned game. (Mt Wellington Invitational is a sanctioned event)

Additional Costs

**During the season there are various events your team may enter, local and outside of New Plymouth. We are unable to advise league fees at the moment as these have not been advised. **

1. Tournament Fees (per player) – collected by team manager for club hosted events here and outside New Plymouth

2. Nationals and Inter regional Fees (per team) Collected by club and paid to IHNZ

3. Additional – Camp Fees/ Trial Fees/ Development Fees – generally hosted by IHNZ – payments will be advised on registration for these events.

• 10 Under: Coach Cameron Wilson and Shane Kemsley – Manager to be advised
• 12 Under: Coach Brett Isenor and Kevin Goulet – Manager Jo Hodgson
• 14 Under: Coach To be Confirmed – Manager Richard Huffam/ Faye Drysdale
• 16 Under: Coach Gary Toa with  Korey Sweeney - Manager Mel Lines
• 18 Under: still unsure if team can be formed
• Junior Women: to confirm
• Senior Women: Gary Toa – Manager Richard Sadler
• Masters: Team Coach
• Senior: to confirm
• Premier: Sam Beardman -  Manager William Isbister

Rink Time for team trainings starting March 20 – see allocated times below – (Week starting March 13 will still be mixed scrimmages for younger teams)

FRIDAY - Session Hosting

• March 17 : .30 – 8.30  Sessions - 14/16 teams
• April 14: 5.30 – 8.30 Sessions - Jnr Wmn/ Snr Wmn
• May 12: 5.30 – 8.30 Sessions - 10/12 teams

Scrimmage Sundays

Ravens are commencing “Scrimmage Sundays” from March 26
A social event with inline hockey, sausage sizzle and mixed up teams to develop club culture, team and player skills. We encourage all grades to get involved - sign up so we can get coaches to allocate teams and we can set up a schedule. Dates are as follows

• March 26
• April 16
• May 28

IHNZ Junior Camp

Camp is hosted by IHNZ and in New Plymouth 29th/ 30th April Club will subsidise cost – DO NOT pay IHNZ direct for the $50 fee.
